Kevin O’Connor blew off the mock draft projections and Jazz interest in the center in an interview on the radio earlier in the week.
You don’t work out players that you don’t at least have some interest in. How much interest they have remains to be seen, but having another big body to join Boozer and Okur would certainly be welcome. Either way, you can guarantee that the Jazz will work out as many players as they can who might be available somewhere near the 23rd pick in the draft. They would be foolish not to do their homework.
