Ronnie Brewer, Paul Millsap on ESPN’s Top 10 Sophomores

Filed under: Paul Millsap, Ronnie Brewer, Utah Jazz — Jazz Fan @ 11:37 am

I don’t necessarily read ESPN.com articles often, but when I happened to see that ESPN had made a midseason list of the best sophomores in the NBA, I had to take a gander.

I, of course, knew that the Utah Jazz had drafted well last year.

I knew that Ronnie Brewer had stepped in well into the starting shooting guard spot on the Utah Jazz at the beginning of the season and had been playing relatively well considering his inexperience.

I also knew that Paul Millsap had had an excellent rookie year and that his sophomore year, though not quite a spectacular, was certainly very good depending, night to night, on how much time he was able to nab off the bench.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Ronnie Brewer had nabbed the fourth spot in the article, and that Paul Millsap was right behind him at the fifth spot.

For your information, the top 3 players were Brandon Roy, Rudy Gay, and LaMarcus Aldridge, in that order.
