I recently read an article on the fact that the Jazz, after dropping a large amount of games, have started winning again. They do mention the fact that the Jazz have been winning at home and that the majority of their games lately have been at home rather than on the road (where a large stretch of December was played).
Somehow the author doesn’t put two and two together, though.
Nothing has changed!
The Jazz are still very lousy on the road.
The Jazz still don’t play good defense, but they play better defense at home than they do on the road.
The only thing that changed was that the Jazz are chalking up more victories because of a favorable schedule over the past several games and a lousy series of road trips before that.
You wonder why some sportswriters even write articles like that.
